		<description>Yes, I can believe there are, though I don't think I know any of them. ECB is a woman of principle second to none. Like the Amazon reviewer, I thought some early parts of &lt;em&gt;Grand Days&lt;/em&gt; a bit far-fetched (especially the cowgirl affair). But she became more rounded as the novel progressed. I like the way she thinks -- she lives the examined life like nobody I know.

I only finished &lt;em&gt;Grand Days&lt;/em&gt; a couple of days ago. I'm looking forward to &lt;em&gt;Dark Palace&lt;/em&gt;.</description>
