ECB is a woman of principle second to none. Like the Amazon reviewer, I thought some early parts of <em>Grand Days</em> a bit far-fetched (especially the cowgirl affair). But she became more rounded as the novel progressed. I like the way she thinks -- she lives the examined life like nobody I know. I only finished <em>Grand Days</em> a couple of days ago. I'm looking forward to <em>Dark Palace</em>. Yes, I can believe there are, though I don’t think I know any of them. ECB is a woman of principle second to none.
