My nose seems to be full all the time, and I make funny snuffling noises like a little pig. Mum and Dad say I make these sounds even when I’m asleep. I don’t really mind except that it makes me cough all the time, and it’s hard to breathe when I am trying to eat.

Mum and Dad spend a lot of time squirting water into my nose and then trying to clean it with a rubber tube attached to a squeeze bulb. It’s called an “aspirator”. I don’t like the water at all because it’s very salty. I’ve never tasted salt before and I don’t like it at all. I don’t mind the rubber tube so much though. At least I feel a little bit less blocked up afterwards.

I am almost two months old now, and I wanted to have a web site just like Dad. I don’t know how to write yet, so I’m getting Mum and Dad and maybe others to write for me. I also don’t know how to speak yet, so they kind of have to guess what I want to write. I hope they get it right! In a few years I will learn to read and then I will know what they wrote.
