I am learning to talk a bit more now. I can understand lots of words, even though I can only say a few of them. I say “Dad” when I see Dad sometimes. I never need to say “Mum” because she’s always there! I also can say the names of some of my favourite foods: “cheese” and “toast”. Dad sometimes has both of these yummy foods together. He’s so lucky.
I can also say some other words, like “car”, if Mum or Dad encourage me. There’s also another word, which is written on the door to my bedroom. Sometimes I say it if Mum points it out to me. It’s a word I never need to say, but everybody else says it to me all the time: “Jay”.
