Now I can talk I use my words a lot. I like to explore things so sometimes I get some bumps and knocks. If this happens I say hurt! hand! or hurt! head! and find Mum or Dad and hold out my hand. They will take it and make it feel better. Sometimes Jay does this too. But sometimes Jay is the reason it hurts in the first place.
Sometimes my foot gets caught in my chair or something so I call out to Dad and say foot! stuck! Except when I say stuck it sounds like “tuck”. Dad comes to pick me up which I like. But when I want to go by myself I say down because I want to walk.
When Dad gets home from work I come to meet him at the front door and say hi Dad! and bag! and he gives me his bag. I don’t know what to do with it so I give it back to him. Then I say dinner because that’s what time it is. I know I have to go to my high chair. so I say chair and walk over to it. Mum or Dad puts me in the chair. Then I eat. Some of my favourite foods that I can say are banana (I say “nana”) tomato (mlato) and water. And milk of course. And meat and chicken and fish and beans. I like food. Soon it is all gone. If I am still hungry I say more! more! Mum and Dad say I should ask nicely so I say more please more please (pease). And when I have finished I ask Mum or Dad to put me down again.
