Shuaib, my earlier reply didn’t make it, I think. I don’t know if you would qualify for a “Medical Services” working visa, so perhaps a “Professor” working visa is what you need. You shold ask the university — they have probably done this before with other foreigners.
Jack, visa applications can unfortunately take many months to come through. You can ask the embassy, but they will probably just tell you to keep waiting. Good luck.

hello i am overstayed here in japan now i wanna get married to japanese man bec. im pregnant all the documents need of embassy i will provide now. I have one (1) problem i am tourist when im entered here in japan and i dont used my real name my sister name i used it bec. i dont have a business and financial statement my sister have a business and also bank account so i convince my sister to used it. bec. im the youngest of the family so my sister allowed me to use her name and now im overstayed here i want to used my real name to get married my fiance and the father of my baby. Now i heard very scrit the law of Japan even ur pregnant if you capture immigration or police send back to your own country im really scared now bec. im pregnant how do i do now please give me some advice regarding my problem i hope as soon as possible before im going to my foreingn embassy.

Hi! I’m Alma. A japanese agency from Japan who is a provider of teachers all throughout Japan recruited handful of filipino teachers to work in Japan as teachers last December 15, 2005. We submitted all our requirements, knowing that all of us are qualified but I wonder why until this very moment the Japanese embassy in the Phils has no final say about our applications for a working visa.Almost 2 years of waiting. Does this mean that we are all rejected or denied? Or simply the Japanese Officials discriminate Filipino teachers to teach in Japan because they look at Filipinos so inferior to the whites or native speaker of English?
Your honest response will help us understand the reason of the very long long delay of our visa application.

hello, i´m 23 and come from germany. i came to japan in august last year. my working-holiday-visa expire in end of october. i don´t want to leave japan and try to find a way, to get a new visa. the problem is, i have no special training or papers for something. i know that i need a job, to get a visa, but without visa, i can´t get a good job. this is so difficult to manage! what can i do? thank you!
