Hi,
Every time someone does a search it is counted twice.
Also, the “Results” only shows the number of results for a max of 1 page worth.
For example if a user searchs for vista they will get 50 pages back. Each page is 10 posts; expect last page is only 3. The plugin will show “Results” as only 10. Instead of 493 like it should be.
Thanks for the help,
Will
Will,
I’ve sent you an email with details on how you can help me diagnose your first problem.
As for the second, that’s by design, to make the plugin more efficient. It avoids having to do a separate database query just to find the number of results. Come to think of it, there might be a way to get the actual number of results — I will have to check that.
Hi i used this plugins and if you have a lot of search keywords some time later ,your sql server down.
I’m also experiencing the duplicate count issue. Just installed Search Meter and I am using WP 2.3.3
oops, sorry, found the new post with updated plugin.
I would like to just make a page with the top 10 search results on it, but when I use on of the functions mentioned above it just won’t work?
How can I use a plugin-function within a regular post, instead of hacking into a theme template?
Thank you in advance!
