Thanks for this useful plugin.
Hello There!
I’ve just installed Search Meter on my blog. My site is still under development so I am, by far, my most frequent customer.
I have typed in a few searches but no statistics are being generated.
My theme has an embedded search box (not a widget). I have version 2.5 of WordPress.
Perhaps Search Meter does not like my theme.
Is there a tweak that will enable Search Meter reporting?
CoolHappyGuy, I had a look at your blog and saw nothing obviously wrong. Do you get no stats at all, even in the “Last 100 Searches” section?
If there are really no stats, you could try this:
define('TGUY_SM_ALLOW_EMPTY_REFERER', true); This will let us see if there is some problem with blank referrers, which would normally stop stats being gathered. After you’ve done this, try some more searches and see if they show up in “Last 100 Searches”.
Please let me know how you get on. Cheerio!
