Mr Kaffenberger, thanks for the pointer. The incompatibility probably comes from the non-canonical way Search Meter creates its database table. I will investigate the appropriate hooks to fix this.
NP and Patung, I am currently building a “Search Meter diagnostics plugin to help me and you investigate such problems.

Hi,
I’m using Wordpress 2.0.4 and I have some popular search terms that have stopped at 999. Is this a built-in limit? IS there a way for me to increase this?
TIA
Hi Benett!
Another great plugin! Top-Cat is already one of the pillars of my wordpress installation.
About Search Meter, i noticed one thing: It uses a is_search() to know when it’s a search or not… normal. But if it is the second or Nth page of the search, it counts the search again. So, 1 - isnt the case to add a !is_paged() on the decision point, or 2 - a next on search result should be counted as another search hit?
Thank you again,
Alfredo
Any plans to be able to block admin searches? I like to search my own page to get around fast, and I dislike tainting my stats doing so. I noticed there’s an “! $wp_query->is_admin” line, but that doesn’t seem to be it.
Thanks for the pointers, Alfredo and Rirath. They’re on the to-do list now. I hope to release a new version of Search Meter this month with several improvements, Also, a couple of big new features are in the pipeline (though they have been in the pipeline for several months now…).
Best of luck, I really enjoy your plugin.
