Dear Bennett,
do you know more about the problem with other authors? “But now, I have other authors in a blog and their posts a complete on the homepage without any “read more”. Is this a bug?”
I have this problem on two blogs with very different themes (Red Planet and a Hemingway-Fork).
SEO Scene: Sorry that you’re having this problem. I haven’t been able to reproduce this yet, but I will hopefully get the chance to investigate more this week.
Dear Bennett, do you know any news about the problem?
SEO Scene, I’ve looked at your blog. I think the problem is that some of the posts don’t have any paragraph break in them. For example, Goethe’s post “Das Pagerank-Update hat begonnen…” is actually all one long paragraph with line breaks. Since it’s only one paragraph, Evermore doesn’t break it up.
For example, this is two paragraphs:
But this is only one paragraph:
To fix your problem, you should ensure that all your articles are properly separated into paragraphs.
Dear Bennet,
thank you, that was the problem. Okay, my co-authors have to learn to set paragraphs.
Thanks for the offer of help.
It seems that whatever problem I had with Evermore on Wordpress 2.2.1 had disappeared. (When I turned it on, a PHP message was getting thrown up on the page). This doesn’t seem to be happening now, so I’ll turn on Evermore on all of the sites. I’m modifying the entry on my blog.
I’ll let you know if I run into anymore issues. Thanks for the your efforts on this plugin.
Hi. I like your plugin but how can I change “Go Reading” to “Read the rest of this entry”
Thank you.
Tonet, you need to change the files in your theme to do this. Look in the file “index.php” or “home.php” and change the text in there.
